Barleens Outing

Day Trip to Barleen’s Matinee “Dinner” Show
On Thursday, February 20th, we will do a Bus trip to Barleen’s in Apache Junction.
During the busy “winter season” this extended family performs various musical shows showcasing their talents. During the summer months they perform in Estes Park, Colorado, and Cody, Wyoming.
Their Variety Spectacular features country, rock and roll, blues, boogie woogie, big band and gospel music; instrumentals; and comedy. Before the show begins, you are treated to a delicious meal featuring roast beef; mashed potatoes with pan gravy; steamed carrots, dinner salad, and roll. Also delivered to the table are chicken tenders and pork ribs for you to sample. For vegetarians a healthy plate is served with salad; mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, roll, and cowboy caviar (bean and corn mix). And everyone is served a wonderful piece of Chocolate Cake first! My kind of dinner!
After dinner the show begins. During intermission check out the gift shop; ice cream bar; or the restroom, before the show continues.
After the show we will board our bus again and head home. Some of us might even catch a nap! Arrival in SCW will be around 5 pm, depending on the traffic.

Price for this special event: $52.50 per person (special show price: $37; bus $15.50)
Gratuities for the dinner waitstaff and bus driver are not included.
Special Bus features a lift for walker passengers: holds 47 passengers – $15.50 per passenger if we have 47 passengers. A little more per person if we do not reach 47 people.
Depart from RH Johnson Rec Center; Aisles 8 & 9 at 10 AM SHARP!!!
Sign Up sheet on the Credenza. Make checks payable to SCW Women’s Club and deposit in the Red Box.
